General ADR Information

The hearings can be held in any setting, including the courts. We have held arbitration hearings on project/construction sites with management/labor present; engineers present, etc., in the presence of the parties and their attorney’s or representatives. Depending on the circumstance, we have used hotel conference rooms, conference rooms at corporate offices and law firms, and private areas of hospitals. Any place that we can sit down (or stand for that matter) and talk, we can provide mediation and arbitration services. We can also hold hearings via web conference.

We frequently use videotape or audio recorded interviews and depositions (sworn affidavits) for mediations and arbitrations to reduce the process costs.

Our firm can explore your situation, make recommendations and work with you to approach any dispute or conflict. Whether the situation requires mediation, arbitration, or a hybrid form of alternative dispute resolution services, we can provide a professional solution in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.

We are available for consultations to attorneys, advocates, nurses, doctors, patients, professionals, consumers, businesses; and on long-term care risk management issues, tax issues, and arbitral issues. We also provide small claims consultation.

This site is maintained solely by The Mediation, Arbitration and Hearings Offices of J-Robert P. de Saglio, LLC. The goal of this web site is to help you become informed on the process and practice of alternative dispute resolution; to provide some general tax information; to evaluate your needs and goals, provide some suggestions and resources, and offer our services if so requested.

DISCLAIMER: The information on this website is not to be taken as personal advice, and is to be seen as the expression of my personal opinions and philosophy. I offer Alternative Dispute Resolution services by appointment only – and am able to travel to meet the client. I am not able to answer personal questions or give recommendation, suggestion, or referral, under any other circumstances, except to clients. Although in my experience, most people benefit from Alternative Dispute Resolution, it is impossible to guarantee the success of any Alternative Dispute Resolution process. Further, I am not an attorney, and do not represent myself to be. I was a non-attorney municipal court judge in The State of Texas.
